I'm Laura, a painter in Baltimore. My garden keeps me happy. I'm sharing it in small doses, one tiny painting at a time.

I'm big, my art is small.

2025 spring/summer FRAMED SERIES

Each flower is represented in a series of ten.

CREST ORANGE COSMOS. FESTIVA MAXIMA PEONY. BEARDED IRIS. BERNADINE CLEMATIS. CALIFORNIA POPPY.

2025 spring/summer UNFRAMED

MONTAUK DAISY. BERNADINE CLEMATIS. PLATYCODON BALLOON FLOWER. BLACK BEAUTY PEONY. TRIUMPH TULIPS. CALIFORNIA POPPY.

Collection of watercolor paint tubes, including Windsor & Newton, Art Spectrum, and other brands, scattered on a wooden surface.

This series began as a way to steady myself in uncertain times. Painting my garden through the cold, grey winter became a reminder that every season eventually shifts. The pendulum always swings.

“That is one good thing about this world… There are always sure to be more springs.”
